Research has demonstrated that marijuana can be an effective treatment for many medical conditions, including several mental health diagnoses, as well as for opioid dependence. Pennsylvania had legalized marijuana for medical use, as long as one is diagnosed with one of these qualifying conditions. I provide evaluations that can determine whether an individual has a mental health condition that qualifies for the program. In addition, as an advanced drug and alcohol counselor, I can assist provide information about marijuana to help one determine if it could be an effective component of one's treatment, or if there could be individual risks. These evaluations are NOT covered by insurance.
